4-Nov-17 – In the middle of the day on Friday, thieves smashed display cases at a jewelry store on Michigan Avenue and stole expensive watches – and this is the second time it’s happened.

At 11:40 a.m., three men entered Tourneau on the third floor of Water Tower Place, smashed a glass display case with a hammer, took the watches, and ran off.

The same thing happened on October 13 at about 11:00 a.m. Following that robbery, the thieves got away in a gold Jeep Cherokee.

The men are described as black, 16 to 20 years old, between five-feet-eight-inches and six-feet tall, 165 to 185 pounds. They were all wearing hooded sweatshirts with a Nike logo. One sweatshirt was black, another gray, and the third was red.

No injuries were reported.

Chicago Police Department On November 10, Chicago police released more images of the suspects, taken from surveillance cameras at Water Tower Place, including this image. The red shirt worn by the man at left has AZUSA PACIFIC UNIVERSITY written on it.
