4-Aug-16 – Supports are in place for one of the new Riverwalk’s many distinct features, gardens built over the Chicago River. Steel pylons have been installed on the Riverwalk room called The Jetty. The stretch between Wells and Franklin Streets will also include fish habitats.

West of Franklin Street, concrete has been poured for a large ramp down to the Riverwalk from Wacker Drive. Along Water Plaza, east of Wells Street, work continues on the walkway surfaces. Mechanical and electrical equipment is also being installed for a shallow fountain.
