26-Feb-17 – Bridges along the Chicago River will have their ups and downs over the next five weeks as the Chicago Department of Transportation makes sure they are in working order.

CDOT announced the following schedule for “bridge trials,” in advance of spring bridge lifts that will begin in mid-April…

    9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – South Ashland Avenue Bridge

  • Tuesday, February 28
    9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Loomis Street Bridge

  • Wednesday, March 1
    9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – South Halsted Street Bridge

  • Thursday, March 2
    9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Cermak Road Bridge

  • Friday, March 3
    9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – South Canal Street Bridge
